More than 20 years ago, having been enchanted by Allan Holdsworth's Looking Glass and The Unmerry Go Round and Yoko Kanno's body of work, I set out to write music that would convey my appreciation for their creative artistry through the filter of my own musical conceptualizations and came up with this piece. For 20 years the entire piece existed only in my head. Only now have I decided to take the time to sequence and record the piece as my very own fusion tune.
